This hell raiser is a fool. So hellraiser are you claiming that you can prevent such people from playing the game. I hate people like you who feel that just because they dont set the fire it is not their responsibilty to help quell the flames. So these people they are just idiots right. No one should try and understand them reach out to them treat them with decency. you make me sick and its taking everything i have to keep myself in line. people who kill themselves over a game are not freaks, they are simply misguided. every time i hear one of these stories it reminds me of why i have to treat people with respect whether ina game or in real life. Perhaps one day you will learn that your actions have consequences and you will develeop a little something called a conscience.

Actually it wasn't you in that thread I was referring to.

This thread allows people of similar mind to express how they feel to the people who don't understand. It's something I think people should read.

Maybe the internet should not be made avalable to any one anymore. People who can not take online insults are a danger to our real world. Insults are a human nature. We insult people and the people who are insulted and can handle it build them selves up and make them better.

Like this fat kid i once knew, he said if he was not humiliated and taunted he would have not have the motivation to lose weight and to make him self better now he looks real good.

Then if it is a closed thread, why not leave it? And, actually, YOU and the thread you started (that was subsequently closed) were not the original topic. While you may enjoy the attention, those of us who find this topic interesting and want to engage in a civil discussion, would like to continue it. If you can offer something besides "Gee it's just a game and I don't know you IRL", please do. Otherwise, there are lots of other places that you could expound on your philosophy of online gaming. Leave this to those of us who want to discuss civility or its lack in the gaming world today.

Iam indulging in civil conversation. You my friend dont like my opionion and cant handle that you have no civil response to my opionion have to turn me out into some troll/spammer as other people like to do when they are backed into a corner.

It's not whether you call someone a n00b/newb/noob, it's whether or not you've insulted them.

Calling someone a noob is somewhat accepted, sadly, as the norm for expressing displeasure in game. But that doesn't make it right. Additionally, that is far from the point.

The point is, you do not have the right to insult anyone...

Perhaps something good can come from insults every once in a while it does provide motivation. This man obviously had quite some inner strength and decided that a change needed to be made and so he lost weight. The thing is hellraiser that do not think this gives you license to act like a jerk. Do you really feel that you will help the vast majority of people with your insults. Not all people are of that mold, many will crumble under the pressure. You my friend have proabably been given far more in life then you deserve but remember there are those of us who have to limp.

To anyone who thinks along the same lines as this guy... I think if we asked people to give a show of hands, we'd find that the number of people who expected to be insulted on a daily or weekly basis would be a very low one.

I personally don't make a habit of hanging around people who insult me. Hence the guidlines for games such as these stating that people should remain civil to others so no-one's gaming experience is ruined.

It won't make you unhappy to NOT insult people, but it makes people unhappy TO be insulted. Who should really get right of way here.
